I believe this wood is cedar. It has been imperfectly varnished - some runs and drips present. Inside, the box floor has been neatly lined with red velvet and wooden dividers have been placed. 15 small compartments present. The largest compartment is 4 1/8" x 1 7/8" x 1 3/8" tall. The artist that hand crafted this basket is Artha Labath, a 2012 'BOMH' Best of Missouri Hands (a juried competition and exhibition) award winner for her basket weaving. This basket is double-walled and has a hickory handle. It measures 20" x 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" to the walls and 12 1/2" tall to the peak of the handle. I believe the figure with the beak stretched upward is the female bird and the more flamboyant crowned figure is the male. Each is 20 1/2" tall. The body, neck, and head of each figure has been carved from a solid piece of wood, with a wood burl as the body and feathers. The legs have been inserted into the burl and into a base and are quite sturdy in their place. The feet of each are partial toothpicks. Up for sale is a primitive tack box. We do not know the age of it, but it has a nice rustic, primitive look. It shows chipped edges, missing paint, and some rust to the hardware.

It has four round openings for pipes. The amatuer pyrography features images of two men smoking cigarettes and two crossed pipes with cascading ribbon in the center. This pithy saying is also located in the center 'Better Smoke Here Than Hereafter.' The maker signed it on the back 'Ian. 17.' It might be the maker's name and age. It might also stand for 'January' and '1917'. It is unclear which is correct.

vintage steel tractor seat stool. It was hand crafted by a non-professional using found items: steel rods and an old steel tractor seat. This piece is pre-owned and was discovered in a barn. It is rusty and primitive. The tractor seat has been welded onto three steel rods and stands 13 1/2" tall (to the tallest edge of the seat) x 17" wide. Although rusty, it is comfortable and sturdy. It would make a great milking stool, child-size outdoor seat, or plant holder. There is no advertising on the seat. The age is unknown.

Up for sale is a vintage custom made jewelry box. It is made of walnut. The box shows light wear from use with scratches and small imperfections in the clear coat throughout. The box measures 7" long and 5 1/8" deep at the base with an overall height of 5 1/4".
This box has a cool mosaic style flower made out of 10 pieces of finely carved wood. The box is very solid with no cracks, chips or breaks. Lid opens as it should and has a removable tray with a lower compartment available as well.
You are viewing what is possibly the largest handmade copper kettle you have ever seen. This is a beautiful and unique piece of craftsmanship. It is a solid copper coffee pot or kettle, standing 17" in height. The diameter of the base is 17" and the diameter of the top opening is 10" The kettle holds 9-gallons, with room to spare. The total weight (empty) is 16 pounds and 12 ounces. We were unable to lift this when it was full of water.
The kettle, spout and D-handle are all composed of solid copper. The lid handle and the wire handle are another type of cast metal. The kettle lid fits tightly.
This is in great, vintage condition overall with small signs of age or use. We have done nothing to clean the kettle besides wiping it down with a wet rag. It has a lovely, aged patina evenly covering the surface. There are some scratches, which are consistent with use. There is a small area of black on the kettle, which may be from use on a campfire. The kettle is covered with a lovely, aged patina. Please see pictures for more details, and please ask questions if you have them. What an incredible conversation piece!

Each of the horizontal rails has a carved wood pin providing added stability. The seat measures 14" x 18 1/4". The woven split wood pieces are 1 3/8" wide, but we do not know what kind of wood it is. The stool is 18 1/2" tall. One of the legs is signed with the mark used by Joe & Alice Dudenhoeffer (makers of this piece) and dated 2004. This hand crafted bench is pre-owned but is in excellent condition.
