This listing is for an unusual, early black and white photograph measuring 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" and signed in pencil 'Carlson 1913'. It features a creche or nativity scene statues and a stable in the foreground. It appears that in the background, the old world style cityscape as well as angels and star of the East have been added-in somehow. The background has a dreamy quality. This photo has, unforturnately, been partially adhered to an old heavy matboard. The lower 3/4 of the photo is free while the top 1/4 of the photo is adhered. The back of the photo that we can see is not labeled in any way. We do not know anything about the photo or the photographer. The photo does not have any tears or stains.
