Antique Framed Art Print Thomas Allom Amphitheatre Nimes Captive Soldiers 1800's

This is an antique print by Thomas Allom.  It was produced in the late 1800's.  It is titled Amphitheatre at Nismes (Nimes) with Captive Soldiers.  It is marked "Drawn by T. Allom" and "Engraved by S. Bradshaw".  The print is framed in an equally old frame with gold-tone finish.  The framed and matted piece measures 19 1/8" by 16".

This piece is in great antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use.  There is some light foxing on the print that can be seen under close inspection.  The frame has housed the print for many years, and it has heavy wear to the finish.  I personally feel that the "weathered" look of the frame accentuates the print nicely.  New backing has been added to the frame.  Please see pictures for more details.
