This is an antique Victorian arm chair. It has a lovely, ornate, wooden frame with a dark wood stain. The upholstery is a burgundy or wine color, and has a velvety texture. The velvety portions feature a raised pattern that looks like leaves. It has a beautiful reflective quality, which changes slightly in appearance, depending on the angle of the viewer. The casters and sockets have been replaced with period-appropriate parts.
The chair has the following measurements:
This is in great condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There are some small spots of wear to the finish, as I believe should be expected. The upholstery has a few snags, but it is intact overall. There are a couple of small cracks on the corner of the headrest, but it is still structurally sound. There may be other small scratches or spots of wear, but I see nothing else of significance to report. Please see pictures for more details, and please ask questions if you have them.
