Toledo Scale 2600 Lb Model 31-1921B Ohio USA No Springs Honest Weight Antique

We are happy to present this antique Toledo Scale. It is marked "1941 Toledo Scale Co Toledo Ohio USA Toledo One Spot Reading" on front of face. This One Spot Reading refers to the fact that the weight is viewed through a magnified window so that it can be read from a distance. This window features a light. Marked"Toledo No Springs Honest Weight Trademarks" on the back of top piece. Side features a panel marked "Toledo Scale company Toledo, Ohio USA Model 31-1921 B 753032 Capacity 2600 LB Patents Pending 26510." Front features a service tag as well as a surface tag that has heavily worn away.

It is in good, used condition overall with some signs of aging and use. Overall it is clean with surface scratches and a few small finish scuffs. It does have a little bit of rusting, mostly at the base. Power cable has light cracking where it joins the light. Light is working.

This scale originally had a platform base, but we do not have it. Because of this, the scale has not been tested. Even without the platform, this would make a great display piece. We do have the rod that screws into the scale head and platform, but it has been disconnected for shipping. Rod is shown in last picture. Scale features a power cable that has minor cracking in the rubber near the top where it connects to the scale.

Top slider goes from 0-200 in increments of 10. Bottom slider goes from 0-400 in increments of 100. Dial weight goes up to 2000 lbs and the sliders add an additional 600 lbs.
