F.A.I.P. Mid Century Modern Art Student Designed Table Lamp Chalkware Round Body

Mid Century Modern, 'F.A.I.P.' marked, chalkware table lamp.   FAIP is believed to stand for 'Fine Art In Plastics' -  a designation given to student-designed chalkware lamps made in Brooklyn, New York in the 1950's.  Made as singles or pairs in a one-of-a-kind style.  All have texturization of the plaster/chalk in common.

 The lamp we are offering stands 31 3/8" tall to the top of the finial.  It has a rounded chalkware body with horizontal stripes.  The stripes are repeated at the base of the neck..  The lamp features dusty rose and off-white hues with gilt applied color texturized accents.  Has a 3-way socket and intact cord.  In very good working condition.  Has a small amount of wear/surface chipping on the chalk finish on the body mostly the horizontal stripes - see picture.
