Up for auction is this 472-page hardboard book with tattered leather cover that is entirely in French - entitled 'Cour Complet D'Economie Politique Pratique' by Jean-Baptiste Say. This listing is for Volume 3 of this set. Roughly translated the title is 'Complete Course of Practical Political Economy'. 1828 is the only date that is given. Even though the cover show much wear/tear/damage, the binding and pages are intact. Pages have foxing (see photo).

7 1/4" x 3 1/2" leather bound, wallet-style, pocket fact book and calendar dated 1877. Although the leather binding/cover is quite tattered and torn and dirty, it retains its original gilt embossed logo with 'German American Insurance Co.' in the center. As the cover is unfolded, there is a small booklet with German American Insurance Co. assets page, calendar, numerous facts pages, and finally some blank pages for personal notations. Some of these dated and blank pages have been torn out - so the dating begins in March of 1877. Some personal notes in fountain pen writing are present. Heavy gilt page edging is present. Pre-owned, and used condition. Perfect size for a inner jacket pocket.
