We are pleased to offer this antique Mintons China Works Tile backsplash. Each of the ten (10) tiles is brown and features a rose or rosette shape. Each tile measures 6" x 6". We believe the wood frame is walnut with a dark stain. The dimensions of the backsplash are: 16 7/8" tall x 43 1/2" wide x 6 1/8" depth. We loosened a portion of the wood back to picture the marks on the back of a tile (see photos) and we believe it reads 'Mintons China Works Stoke On Trent Reg No 3143 Col England'. We were unable to date this mark. There are 3 metal tabs that hold the tiles in place that run through the piece and attach to the backing. One of these tabs is missing.
This antique tile backsplash is pre-owned. The exact age is unknown. There are chips and scratches on the wood frame. There are some small chips on the tile fronts which we have pictured. There is some aged residue on some of the tiles.

It stands approximately 10 1/4" tall to the highest portion of the handle x 7" diameter at the base and 8" diameter at the widest portion. The spout is 1 7/8" diameter, and there is an old cork in place. The surface shows some pitting and some primitive finishing.

We are pleased to offer this stoneware stein with pewter lid. The stone-colored, glossy-glazed pottery features cobalt blue recessed scrolling and geometric designs. There is a '0,5' mark on the outside indicating it has a 1/2 liter (16.9 oz) capacity. The stoneware stein without the lid is 5 1/4" tall and to the thumbhold on the lid is 6 1/4" tall.
The lid is marked 'DBGM Urn' which are German patent or copyright initials indicating that the pewter dates to sometime after 1949.
This stein is pre-owned but is free of chips and cracks. The pewter shows grainy tarnish.

The previous owner placed a piece of tape on the bottom with '1959' written on it (perhaps when they purchased the vase).

This is a vintage celery dish. It is hand painted and features lily pads and water lilies. The piece is signed by the artist - I am unable to read the signature, but it looks like De Craft. The dish is marked on the bottom J & C Louise Bavaria and Wheelock La Art Modern. The dish measures 12 1/4" by 5 1/2". This is in excellent condition with only small signs of age or use. There may be light surface scratches. One of the handles has a small hairline crack, but it is still secure. There are some spots of wear to the gold trim. Please see pictures for more details.
We are pleased to offer this Leisy Brewing Company pottery, advertiser mug. It features the company's logo on the front that reads 'The Leisy Brewing Co. Purity Strength Age Trade Mark L.' The outer surface is dark pine green with rust, black, pale green, and blue intricate designs and a gilt accent rim. The over-sized handle has a thumb-place. The mug stands 5 1/8" tall and holds 18 ounces of fluid.
The bottom is stamped 'Haynes Balt,' - 'Balt' is smeared. This mark stands for the DF Haynes & Co pottery, Baltimore, which was founded in 1879 and first produced art pottery. It appears that this piece was made in the early 1900's but we are not entirely certain of this.This antique pottery mug is pre-owned. The pottery shows crazing and some of the gilt rim has worn off. This listing is for a 7 3/4" tall ceramic stein with silvertone metal lid with music box in the base. The ceramic body of the stein is embossed with a colorful tavern scene with guitar player and on the opposing side a landscape scene with a lodge style building. The bottom of the stein has been fitted with a music box. When the key is wound and the stein is lifted 'How Dry I Am' plays. The music stops when the stein is returned to sitting position and the metal rod is depressed. The bottom of the stein is stamped 'Japan' and the key is marked 'TOYO'. I believe the lid is pewter but I am not positive (it is non-magnetic).This stein music box is pre-owned, but is without chips and cracks and plays well.
